Slash Program Committee
The Slash Program Committee will help plan for the future of slash disposal in Crystal Lakes. With our current site lease expiring on May 31, 2028, the committee will focus on identifying and evaluating potential locations for a long-term slash disposal site.
Committee members will work with the Board, CLRRA staff, local agencies, fire departments, and community partners to explore potential sites and consider important factors such as safety, access, environmental requirements, permitting, operations, and costs. The committee will also help explore grants, partnerships, and other resources that could support the program.
The committee will serve in an advisory role to the Board, with all final decisions remaining with the CLRRA Board.
