CLRRA Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP)
Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) support communities in evaluating local wildfire risks and identifying targeted strategies to reduce those risks and enhance preparedness. The planning process, including assessments and collaborative discussions, can aid fire protection districts in wildfire response and help property owners prioritize mitigation efforts. Additionally, having an approved CWPP can improve access to funding for fuel reduction projects, as many grant programs require one.
